Why "Wayward?" I have never considered myself the run of the mill psychic - I tend to be a skeptic, suspicious of purported psychic, paranormal or supernatural happenings until I have had an opportunity to rule out any and all rational, logical reasons and explanations. I also tend to have both feet planted firmly on the ground - Good ole' Terra Firma. From my experience I can't always say that this has been true of many others in the field of the paranormal -
This site was created as a way to reconnect with old friends and kindred souls on the "Journey" on the "Way." Though now I am a trained and experienced therapist, I have been counseling, teaching and lecturing on ESP and the Psychic Arts since I was 16. My clients have included people in TV, radio, entertainment; the movie industry; doctors, lawyers, politicians - but mostly just everyday regular and down to earth folk... searchers and seekers just like me.
Though ESP traditionally stands for Extra Sensory Perception - a sixth sense if you will - I look at ESP more as Extended Sensory Perception (or even "Evolving Sensory Perception,") in the same way that visible light is but one kind of light on an electromagnetic spectrum. We don't look at the infrared or the ultraviolet light as "extra" to visible light on this spectrum but rather a gradation into and out of, a merging if you will, one into another.
Consequently, I feel it more accurate to see psychic abilities as extending out of our five physcial senses and along a contiuum or spectrum. Specifically, I use Clairsentience - or "clear feeling," as my most reliable psychic perception. The impressions, thoughts, ideas, inspirations I recieve I do so through feelings. However, as I have said these "psychic" senses are fluid and often I have found other psychic senses suddenly available like Clairvoyance (clear seeing) and even on a few ocassions Clairaudience - clear hearing!
And that brings us to today. You know, things have changed quite a bit since I started giving "readings" (psychic consultations) many years ago. Everytime one turns around these days there is another show on ghosts or spirits, mediums, psychic interviewers, psychic detectives, psychic kids, psychic moms, - psychic pets for gawd's sake...! And about as many opinions, explanations or advice givers on what it all means. I can validate some of the things I hear through my own experiences over the last 35 years, but I fear that much more of it is just so much media hype, hyperbole or "guessing" from too many inexperienced voices. So buyer, thinker and searchers be wary - there are a lot of rabbit holes aout there!
Me? I, like, many of the "Old Guard," continue quietly to help move the consciousness and transcendant spirit within each of us along another type of evolutionary path. Remember, the Age of Aquarius is still Dawning and we each have our part to play.
